We offer boarding and some grooming here for both dogs and cats. When you leave your pet with us, we will make every effort to make your pet’s visit as stress-free and comfortable as we can. We want this to be your pet’s home away from home!
We have 8 runs for dogs, as well as smaller enclosures to keep dogs safe and comfortable. They all have an elevated cot, with a blanket to sleep on and snuggle up with. We will either walk dogs twice daily or let them out in our play area where they can play with toys or have fun with their housemates. We also utilize several methods to aid in keeping your pet calm while you are away. These include playing the music from a CD called In a Dog’s Ear which has been shown to calm pets and help them sleep, using Adaptil sprays and a wall plug in (pheromone to aid in de-stressing dogs) and Thundershirts when needed.
Our cat condos offer a great view from the perching shelf in each condo. We can open portholes between condos to give extra room or to allow cats from the same household to visit each other. We strive to make your cat’s visit with us as stress-free as possible so Feliway spray and a wall plug in is used in our cat room, as well as enclosed houses for them to “hide” in if they want to.
On the day of discharge from boarding, we recommend bathing. This is offered at a reduced rate. In addition to bathing after boarding, we will be happy to bathe your pet with our special hydrosurge unit, trim your pet's toenails, clip their mats, and even shave down long-haired patients in our grooming area. Some cats need a summer haircut. We are able to clip out a few mats or shave the entire cat if needed (this is called a lion cut). Please call for more information.
If your pet needs special trims or clips we are not able to do, but we will be pleased to refer you to many local specialized groomers.
Is your pet unhappy or lonely while you are at work? Give your companion the personal attention he or she deserves throughout the day. We offer the same TLC and playtime offered to our longer-term guests.
