Danielle Treadway (Dani)

Received her B.S. in Biology from Western Carolina University
Received her Registered Veterinary Technician degree from Gaston College
Has been working with The Animal Hospital of Waynesville since 1998
Has (4) cats – Zeke, Aspen , Tis, & Sphinx and (1) dog Max
Dani loves Siberian huskies and dolphins
When not at work Dani loves to hike, camp, read and taking Max on A LOT of walks. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

June Allen Birchfield
Office Manager

Born and raised in Haywood County . Employee of The Animal Hospital of Waynesville since it's beginning in 1989, having worked in the animal field for a total of 30 years. Married to Glenn (Sr) and Mom to Glenn (Jr) who will be studying ProGolf Management at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC in the fall of 2008. I attend North Hazelwood Baptist Church . Outside of work I love to read and spend time with family. Furry family members includes: 4 dogs, “Rocky,” “Scooter,” “Buddy,” and “Callaway,” and 3 cats, “Big Baby Orange,” “Sylvia,” and “Speedy.” I am a true animal lover!

Christy White McLean

I was born and raised in Oklahoma , attended OSU and move to Alexandria , VA. I had a Data Processing Business for many years until I decided to go into nursing, then Dr. Hammett convinced me in 2006 to come and work in her practice. I am married to Ray McLean and have one daughter Katy McLean who graduated from Berea College in Berea Ky. I have (4) dogs, (3) cats, (5) donkeys, (2) horses and 7 goats on a little farm on the outskirts of town. As you can see, I love animals. Outside of work and my animals I love to ride horses, grow a garden, read, and foster large animals. Not only am I very politically active, I am also on the board of The Haywood County Agriculture & Activities Center and volunteer for the Haywood County Fair with the petting zoo, livestock shows and entertainment.

Tracy Payne

I have worked for the Animal Hospital of Waynesville for 3 years, I wear two hats, I work in Client Services and Patient Services. I have a wonderful little boy, Dakota, who he is 11 years old. On my small farm I have (1) boxer, Zeb Huskey Dutches, (1) Labrador , Sissy and (1) Jack Russell, Mandy. I also have (2) cats, Clemson and Bisquit, (2) horses Threat and Lilly. In my spare time, Dakota and I enjoy horseback riding, camping and fishing.

Angela McClure

Hi my name is Angela McClure. I am a native of Haywood County and have been working at The Animal Hospital of Waynesville since November, 2001. I love seeing all the animals that visit our office and I have (3) cats of my own. (2) inside, Teala and Roxanne and (1) outside Tom Tom. Tom Tom come to my house as a stray but I love him just as much as the other two that my heart picked. In my spare time I enjoy boating, jet skiing, camping and wine making.

Susan Bishop

Hi, my name is Susan Bishop. I joined The Animal Hospital of Waynesville in March 2001 as a member of the Client Services Staff. I enjoy being able to help our clients with their pet care needs. I am a native of Haywood County and currently live in Clyde . I have two grown children, Tina & Matt and I have two grand children Elijah & Jackson. I have (4) four legged children, Cinnamon a chow mix who just turned 15 , Gracie Lou a Great Dane who is 6 years old, Banjo a 3 year old Australian Shepherd mix and Annie Mae a 3 year old Terrier mix. In my spare time I enjoy camping, fishing, reading, remodeling and taste testing Angela McClure's wine.

Cyndi Manning

Hi, my name is Cyndi Manning, I am originally from Florida but have been in North Carolina since 1990. I have worked for the Animal Hospital of Waynesville since January 2007. I share a home in Canton with my husband Todd and my grandson Michael. We have (1) Dog, a rottweiler named Angel and (3) cats all spoiled rotten. I currently attend New Covenant Church .

Dana York

Hi, I'm Dana York, I have been a part time Registered Veterinary Technician at The Animal Hospital of Waynesville since March 2008. I received my AAS in VMT from Central Carolina College in Sanford , NC and my BS from UNCA. I have been in the Veterinary field for 13 years. I have been an instructor in the AB-TECHS VMT Program for 3 ½ years and have lived in Asheville for the past 8 years. I share a home with boyfriend, his son, 3 dogs and 2 cats. In my spare time I enjoy camping, hiking, reading, spending time with friends and family.

Sally Sorrells

Hi I'm Sally Sorrells, native of Haywood County and I have been at The Animal Hospital of Waynesville since 2005 working in Patient Services. I am an integral member of The Animal Hospital of Waynesville team having completed many continuing education courses. I share my home with my husband and son Jake, I have (3) dogs, (3) cats, (40) chickens & (1) pig. In my spare time I enjoy 4 wheeling, driving my jeep and spending time with my friends and family.

Kim Roberts

Hi, I'm Kim Roberts, native of Haywood County and have been at The Animal Hospital of Waynesville since 2000 in Patient Services. I previously worked at NCSU in Raleigh . I share my home with boyfriend and daughter Abby, (2) dogs and (5) cats. In my spare time I enjoy fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends.
